NBA (www.NBA.com) All-Star Voting 2021, presented by AT&T (ATT.com), the NBA’s official 5G wireless network, will shut down at noon ET tomorrow, Thursday, Jan. 28 and end at 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 16. ET, giving fans the chance to vote for the All-Star players in the NBA. There are current talks surrounding a possible NBA All-Star Game.

Fans may send one complete ballot per day via the NBA App and NBA.com during the voting period, as well as vote on Twitter for up to 10 unique players per day. It will be eligible to pick all current NBA teams. Five “2-for-1 Days” will encourage fans to have their votes counted twice via Twitter, NBA.com and the NBA App voting platforms on Jan. 30, Feb. 2, Feb. 4, Feb. 13 and Feb. 16. From midnight ET to 11:59 p.m., all “2-for-1 days” will be marked. ET. The et.

Fans will be joined by NBA players and media to pick the NBA All-Star starters. Fans will account for 50 percent of the vote, while 25 percent each will account for both active players and a media panel. Players and journalists, including three frontcourt players and two guards from both the Eastern Conference and the Western Conference, will be able to complete one vote.

After all votes are counted, players will be ranked for each of the three voting categories in each conference by position (guard and frontcourt)-fan votes, player votes and media votes. The score of each player is determined by combining its weighted rank from the votes of the fans, the votes of the players and the votes of the media. In each conference, the two guards and three front-court players with the best score will be named NBA All-Star starters. Fan voting will act as the tiebreaker for players with the same score in a place division.

On Thursday, Feb. 4 and Thursday, Feb. 11, fan voting updates will be distributed. TNT will announce the NBA All-Star starts this season on the evening of Thursday, Feb. 18 during CarMax’s TNT NBA Tip-Off. The NBA All-Star reserves, chosen by NBA head coaches, will also be revealed by TNT on Tuesday night, Feb. 23.

How Fans Would Vote:

  • NBA.com voting page at vote.NBA.com: On vote.NBA.com from a web or mobile device, fill out one full ballot per day (per day is described as once every 24 hours). When selecting starters, fans can pick up to two guards and three front-court players from each conference.
  • NBA App: Via the NBA App that is available on Android and iOS, access the ballot and vote. By selecting up to two guards and three frontcourt players from each conference when selecting starters, fans will fill out one complete vote per day.
  • Twitter: Post, retweet or respond with the hashtag of the first and last name of the NBA player (#FirstNameLastName) or the handle of Twitter, along with the hashtag #NBAAllStar. Each tweet can include the name or handle of only one player. From Jan. 28-Feb. 16, fans can vote for 10 unique players per day.
