At the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, His Excellency Ahmed Al Sayegh hosted a delegation from the CDC Group, led by Executive Director Nick O’Donohoe.
Both sides discussed the recent announcement of the formation of an investment platform between CDC Group and DP World, with the goal of investing in ports and logistics in Africa, during the meeting. Both parties agreed that such a project would help Africa achieve its goal of becoming a global commerce hub and boost the continent’s economic prospects.
The two sides also addressed possible collaboration in the areas of infrastructure, clean energy, health, and education in Africa and Asia.
His Excellency Patrick Moody, UK Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, was present at the meeting.
